Welcome to The Guy's Guide to Christian Living! During this episode Cullen and Trevor continue their conversation about dating and romantic relationships and go over questions like "How do I keep God at the center of my relationship?" and "How do I know if this relationship needs to end?". We upload regular episodes every Friday, and then bonus episodes every other Saturday.
Questions to consider:
- At what point do you verbalize whether you’re officially boyfriend and girlfriend?
- Once that happens, how do you keep the girl?
- What is a good amount of dating? Should the couple go on a date at least once a week (more than just hanging out)?
- People often say that God needs to be at the center of every Christian relationship. But, what does that look like? How can you tell if He is or isn’t at the center for you? If you determine that your relationship isn’t on the right track, how can you work to get it back?
- Inter-denominational dating. Go or no go?
- How to deal with trouble in the relationship. Ex. arguments, don’t like their family as much as you’d hoped, somebody lied to the other person.
- How much is too much? When is it time to break up?
- Do you stay with somebody who cheated on you (not married)?
- Is it okay for a proposal to be a total surprise (never talked about in the relationship)?
